1. Who we are and our commitment
This Privacy Policy explains how EverOn Solutions, a proprietorship of Rajibul Islam operating from Bechimari, Darrang, Assam (Udyam UDYAM-AS-07-0012844), collects, uses, stores, shares and protects your personal data when you use this website to apply for rooftop solar facilitation under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. We are committed to handling your data lawfully, fairly and transparently, in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
Because the services involve government and bank applications, the personal data we handle can be sensitive, including identity and financial information. We collect it only for the stated facilitation purposes and only with your consent.
2. What personal data we collect
Depending on the service you use, we may collect your name, mobile number, email address, postal address and district; your electricity consumer number, DISCOM, sanctioned load, average monthly bill, property and roof details, and proposed system size; your Aadhaar number and PAN; your bank details where required for loan facilitation; documents you upload such as the electricity bill, Aadhaar, PAN, property proof, roof photograph, passport photograph and bank passbook; and, when you sign in with Google, your Google account email and basic profile information.
We collect this data directly from you when you submit a form, upload a document, or sign in. We do not knowingly collect data from persons who are not party to the application.
3. Why we use your data, and the legal basis
We use your data to prepare and submit your application under PM Surya Ghar, to coordinate survey and installation, to facilitate your loan application with partner banks or financiers, to verify the documents you provide, to communicate with you about the status of your application, and to comply with applicable law.
The legal basis for our processing is your consent, which you give when you submit your information for these purposes. We apply purpose limitation: we use your data only for the purposes described here, and not for unrelated purposes.
4. Aadhaar and PAN handling
Your Aadhaar number and PAN are collected only for the stated facilitation purpose, only with your consent, and are used solely to process your own application. They are not sold, not used for advertising, and are not shared with anyone other than the relevant bank, financier or government authority handling your application. Where displayed within our systems, identity numbers are masked, and access to your uploaded documents is restricted and authentication-gated.
5. Your rights under the DPDP Act
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to seek correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data, to seek erasure of your data where it is no longer required, to withdraw your consent at any time, and to grievance redressal. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer process or progress your application.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact our Grievance Officer using the details on our Grievance Redressal page. We will respond within the timelines required by applicable law.
6. Data retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, to provide the facilitation services, and to meet legal, regulatory and audit requirements. When data is no longer required for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
7. Security safeguards
We apply reasonable technical and organisational security safeguards to protect your data, including encryption of data in transit, access controls so that documents are served only to authenticated and authorised users, masking of identity numbers in our interfaces, and restricted internal access on a need-to-know basis. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.
8. Sharing with third parties and processors
We share your data only as needed to process your own application: with the relevant banks or financiers for loan facilitation, and with government portals such as the PM Surya Ghar and DISCOM systems for application and connection processing. We use a small number of service providers as processors, including Google (for optional sign-in via Google OAuth) and our self-hosted email system for transactional communication.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising. Any sharing is limited to what is necessary for your application and is subject to confidentiality.
9. Cookies
We use only minimal cookies that are necessary for the site to function, principally for session and authentication. For details, please see our Cookie Policy.
